Miķeļdiena Brīvdabas muzejā is a harvest festival event in Rīga at the Latvian Ethnographic Open-Air Museum on 27 September 2026. Visitors are welcome from 10:00. The programme includes a market with 49 craftspeople and 35 food producers, cooking a seasonal harvest soup, farm animals, blacksmith demonstrations, a family play and autumn equinox rituals. The folklore groups “Dandari” and “Grodi” will play and dance, while “Mare” and “Spruksti” will sing and lead games. Children can join creative workshops from 10:00 to 16:00. The museum will also show the exhibitions “Suitu krāsas un ritmi” and “Pakši un jumti”.
