“LATVIEŠU FILMU MARATONS | Tīklā. TTT leģendas dzimšana” is a feature film in Ādaži at Ādaži Culture Centre on 14 November 2026. Set in Riga under Soviet rule, the film tells the story of the birth of “TTT”, one of the outstanding women’s basketball teams in European history. Its captain, Dzidra Uztupe-Karamiševa, must find the courage to defeat opponents she is not allowed to beat and stand up to the security services. For her, victories on the basketball court mean more than sport: they offer hope of evading the totalitarian regime and meeting her brother living in exile.
