“Lai top tautastērps. Priekšauts. | Meistarklašu cikls” is a workshop in Daugavpils at the Tradīciju māja of Daugavpils Vienības nams, with entrance from Saules Street, on 25 September 2026. Participants will explore the process of making a ceremonial apron, from embroidering the pattern to sewing the apron together. Led by craftswoman Maija Kulakova, the workshop covers the basics of embroidery step by step and gives participants the opportunity to try sewing an apron themselves. It is a practical way to spend time creatively, learn about Latvian cultural heritage and make a carefully crafted piece by hand.
