KINO | Ceļš nekad nebeidzas is a film in Aizkraukle at Aizkraukles Kultūras centrs on 20 November 2026. It tells the story of legendary Latvian mountaineer Teodors Ķirsis (1942–2003), who sought to reach the world’s highest peaks with the flag of the newly restored Latvia in his hands. His story explores the human стремление to reach life’s and the world’s summits, as well as the mountaineer’s place in the identity of Latvia after the restoration of independence. The film portrays a figure who became one of the most striking symbols of that Latvia.
