Jelgavas cietuma apskate is a two-hour walking tour in Jelgava at Jelgavas cietums, taking place from 2 to 30 November 2026. Participants go behind the prison walls with accompanying former employees, who share personal memories and everyday stories from their time working there. The walk includes the prison grounds and its historic buildings. This is not a certified guide-led tour with a professional fact-based historical framework, but a personal account rooted in first-hand experience.
