Exhibition “our hands meet, please, hold on”
The exhibition brings together the artists’ distinct practices through dialogue – Tilks’s monumental spatial structures and Edson’s analogue photography. Their works explore the boundaries of closeness, distance, and touch, revealing the tension between the desire for connection and the need to maintain one’s own boundaries. One artist focuses on architectural forms and structure; the other, on photography and fleeting gestures. In the installation, images of hands and touch serve as traces of contact—moments that feel both intimate and uncertain. Modular structures, laser-engraved textiles, layered panels, and other material combinations act as both connectors and barriers, simultaneously holding together and dividing the installation.
