Eiropas diena is a Europe Day celebration in the city of Liepāja on 9 May 2027. The programme will create a shared European story through discussions, masterclasses and other participatory activities in Liepāja and its surrounding area. Special attention will be given to the city’s multicultural environment and its communities. Non-governmental organisations and active local residents will join the programme to hold open conversations about Liepāja’s and the region’s role in Europe, available and as-yet-unused opportunities, and the development of civic participation. The event is organised by Liepāja 2027 in cooperation with non-governmental organisations and local communities.
