Dzejkoncerts Nr. 2 is a chamber music and poetry concert in Cēsis at the Great Salon of Cēsis New Castle on 14 November 2026. The programme combines poetry by Latvian literary classic Kārlis Skalbe, performed by actress Guna Zariņa, with works by Pēteris Vasks and Maurice Ravel, performed by cellist Kristaps Bergs and violinist Elīna Bukša. Short introductory lectures and comments from the artists will add context and explore the connection between the literary and musical works. The event takes place in the castle’s historic Great Salon. A pop-up café will operate on the first floor, in the Vaulted Hall, before and during the concert. No age suitability or event language is stated.
