“Autobuss” is a satirical comedy production in Rīga at the Austrumu Robeža theatre club, running from 31 October 2026 to 19 May 2027. Inspired by a play by Bulgarian writer Stanislav Stratiev, the production follows six passengers who unexpectedly find themselves on a nearly empty evening bus that veers from its planned route. Each character reveals a facet of society, while the journey becomes a metaphor for a small state, combining humour, misunderstandings and topical everyday themes. Kārlis Anitens directs the production and creates its set and costumes. The show is part of the “Austrumu robežas” trilogy and is performed in Latvian. Address: R. Vāgnera Street 8, Rīga, entrance from Gleznotāju Street.
