The play "Cenzūra" by Mārtiņš Zīverts will be performed on 11 October 2026 at Jelgavas Kultūras nams in Jelgava. This "sad comedy" is based on documentary facts and is set in a Latvian refugee camp in Germany in 1947. The play explores passions, hidden and open love, relationships with power, ghosts of the past, and the world of dreams as a refuge and means of survival in harsh conditions. Elīna Skutele, Artūrs Vasiļjevs, Roberts Avots, and Raivis Altrofs star in the production, directed by Agris Krūmiņš. The performance is in Latvian and takes place at Jelgavas Kultūras nams.
