The open-air museum in Jūrmala presents a coastal fisherman's homestead with a net shed, dwelling house, granary, fish-smoking house and other characteristic buildings. Its collections include anchors, fishing boats and equipment and materials for making ropes and nets. Seasonal activities include traditional celebrations, workshops and fish-smoking demonstrations. Guided tours in sign language, a guide or app, and programmes for families and school groups are available.
