The new “ĪRGA” Centre for Traditional Culture and Crafts opens in Riga. On the opening day, visitors can enjoy creative workshops, craft demonstrations, concerts, and meetings with masters of folk applied arts. The centre will feature the exhibitions “The Beginning” and “The Mask Cupboard”, as well as an interactive display “Living Memory”. The festivities will culminate in the concert performance “ĪRGA – The Beginning”, from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM, symbolically marking the creation of a new cultural space and the continuation of traditions in the modern city.
