Sēņu diena Līgatnes dabas takās is an educational event taking place on 12 September 2026 at Līgatnes dabas takas in Līgatne. Together with an expert, participants will explore the diversity of mushrooms found in Latvian forests, learn to identify edible, inedible, and poisonous species, and discover their importance in forest ecosystems. The programme includes a mushroom exhibition and informative workshops. The event welcomes both experienced mushroom pickers and beginners. Entry is with a Līgatnes dabas takas ticket, available in advance or at the entrance.
