The conversation event “Politiķis T-kreklā” with Dāvids Rubens, chair of the Līvānu Municipality Council, takes place on 5 November 2026 in Daugavpils, at Caffeine café, Alejas iela 77. In an informal setting, young people can learn about the municipal leader’s professional experience and personality, ask questions and join the discussion. The conversation will cover Rubens’s path to the council chair’s position, the challenges of leading the municipality and responsibility for decisions important to residents. His daily life, interests and experiences beyond official duties will also be discussed. Young people are invited to bring their own questions and reflections for an open dialogue about local government, public processes and opportunities for participation.
