George Frideric Handel's opera "Julius Caesar" tells the story of the encounter between Julius Caesar and the young Cleopatra in Egypt, leading to an unexpected romance amid war, intrigue, and chaos. Cleopatra initially seeks to use Caesar's favor to claim the throne, but her plan changes when she herself falls in love. This production is the first staging by the Estonian National Theatre Vanemuine, now on tour in Riga.
