The “Musical August in Daugavpils” festival returns for its 14th edition with a diverse programme of concerts held throughout August. Audiences can enjoy performances by outstanding Latvian and international artists, featuring jazz, big band, classical and symphonic music. The programme includes performances by Cēsis Big Band, Arnold Grīnberts Band, Māris Briežkalns Quintet, Professional Wind Orchestra “DAUGAVA”, Daugavpils Accordion Orchestra and Daugavpils Sinfonietta, together with guest musicians from Latvia and abroad. The festival concludes with the 19th concert season opening of Daugavpils Sinfonietta, featuring “Chopin, Beethoven and Aurelia Šimkus.” Tickets: available at Biļešu Paradīze ticket offices and online.
