The concert “LNSO, IVETA APKALNA UN MAESTRO KAZADESĪ” takes place on 8 October 2026 at the Riga Congress Hall. The programme features works by French composers: Hector Berlioz’s “Roman Carnival”, Camille Saint-Saëns’s Third Symphony, and Francis Poulenc’s Concerto for Organ and Orchestra. Appearing are the Latvian National Symphony Orchestra, organist Iveta Apkalna, and conductor Jean-Claude Casadesus. This concert is part of the ORGANismi festival and marks the first collaboration of the season between LNSO and resident artist Iveta Apkalna. The evening highlights French musical gems and the powerful sound of organ and orchestra.
