A choral, violin and organ concert in Riga, at Rīgas Lutera baznīca Torņakalnā, takes place on 7 November 2026. The programme features the Riga Orthodox Chamber Choir “Blagovest” led by its founder and artistic director Aleksandrs Brandavs, violinist Aleksejs Koļesņikovs, cellist Irina Viļegžaņina, and Torņakalns Church organist and pianist Ingūna Grīnberga. Works by Arvo Pärt, Pēteris Vasks, Alfred Schnittke, Emīls Dārziņš, Dmitri Bortniansky and other composers will be performed. A specially created light score by light artist Ivars Vācers will follow the musical dramaturgy, bringing the church architecture, colours and sound together.
