Koklētāju ansambļa “Kārta” 45 gadu jubilejas koncerts “Krāsas. Metaforas” is a concert taking place at Koka Rīga in Rīga on 10 October 2026. It celebrates the ensemble’s 45-year creative journey and music’s ability to create emotions, images and stories. The programme brings together compositions from different periods, moods and styles, mostly by Latvian composers, alongside music by Camille Saint-Saëns and Claude Debussy. Students of the Jaņa Rozentāla Art School will create sketches during the concert, with their work shown on a projector screen. The resulting artworks will be preserved after the concert as a lasting record of the dialogue between music and visual art.
