KLUSIE DĀRGUMI. NO KAMERMŪZIKAS LĪDZ DŽEZAM. Trio ,,ELPO’’ is a concert at Salacgrīvas Kultūras Nams in Salacgrīva on 16 October 2026. TRIO ELPO’s programme is a musical journey between jazz, academic music and classics of popular music, giving works from different eras and genres a new sound in a piano-trio setting. It includes original compositions by Jānis Rubiks and Edgars Cīrulis, alongside music by Imants Kalniņš, Federico Mompou, Lili Boulanger and Mikalojus Konstantinas Čiurlionis. The Beatles’ “Norwegian Wood” and “Come Together” and Duke Ellington’s “Isfahan” bring jazz and popular music into the programme. Improvisation, interplay and freedom are central to the trio’s musical conversation.
