The film screening “MISIJA:ATRAST VECĀKUS” is an adventure comedy and family film in Madona, at the VIDZEME cinema, from 8 to 15 November 2026. Directed by Viesturs Kairišs, the film stars Kārlis Arnolds Avots, Chulpan Khamatova, Aleksas Kazanavičius, Shamil Khamatov and other actors. The 1-hour-23-minute film is in Latvian with English subtitles and has no age restriction. Alisa sets out with her brother Milan and local boy detectives to find their missing parents. The clues lead to the city, where the children uncover a crime larger than it first appeared. It is a colourful story about family, friendship and children’s courage to act when adults disappear from view.
