The Kauguru parish amateur theatre “Vīzija” presents “Ministrienes kundze” at Kocēnu Cultural Centre in Kocēni on 10 October 2026. This satirical production by Serbian playwright Branislav Nušić explores fame, money and power as tests that reveal a person’s true nature. Through grotesque comedy, foolishness, hypocrisy and ambition become vivid caricatures. The theatre approaches the story through the perspective of contemporary world events, showing that the grotesque can be not only amusing but also exposing, presenting reality in an uncomfortable yet honest way. “Vīzija” has been active since 1998 and is led by director Oskars Hofmanis.
