The contemporary art exhibition "Mierā!", organized by the foundation "Nodibinājums Liepāja 2027", will be on view for an extended period in the showcases at Graudu Street 36/38, now open until August 28. The exhibition focuses on creative peace-building practices. Artist Pēteris Rubezis contributes the new architectural installation "Dūmi Kāpās" (2026), offering a space for creative discovery. Works by artist and musician Vita Liepiņa, "Idle Hands Seek Mischief" (2025) and "Batik" (2024), are based on the rhythmic and cyclical process of crochet as a means of calming the mind. The exhibition is supported by multiple organizations.
