Izrāde VERONIKA, ZILAIS PUTNS is a theatre performance in Riga at the Latvian Academy of Art, 2nd building, taking place from 10 to 11 October 2026. The show lasts 1 hour. This collage performance presents the life of artist and writer Veronika Janelsiņa in California after the death of her husband, writer Anšlavs Eglītis. It is based on memories, interviews, letters, and documentary evidence. Performers include Laila Maria Saliņa and Ģirts Krūmiņš, with music by Laila Maria Saliņa and Jim Matus. The director is Liena Šmukste and the scenographer Māris Ruskulis. The performance explores themes of memory, solitude, loyalty, and hope, revealing a woman's search between California and Latvia.
