Eiropas diena 2027 is a celebration in Liepāja at the Stāvlaukums pie koncertzāles "Lielais dzintars" on 9 May 2027. This open and diverse gathering will bring together different generations, communities and interests. The day begins with a shared morning exercise session, followed by lectures and discussions on European values, democracy, participation, security, the role of young people and Europe’s future. Visitors can join interactive activities and large-format games, and contribute a wish, dream or vision to the shared installation “Eiropas sapņu bura”. The programme also offers an opportunity to discover different cultures, people and ideas that shape our common European space. The event is part of the “Liepāja – Eiropas kultūras galvaspilsēta 2027” programme.
