The “Rīts ar literatūrzinātnieku” lecture is a literature event in Ragana at Krimulda Community Centre on 14 November 2026. Literary scholar Ilze Ļaksa-Timinska will present “Neērtā latviešu literatūra: autori un teksti PSRS 20. gadsimta 20.–30. gados”, focusing on Latvian writing in the Soviet Union during the 1920s and 1930s. The lecture will introduce authors connected with Vidzeme, including Alvils Ceplis, Oskars Rihters, Linards Laicenis, Roberts Eidemānis and Konrāds Jokums. It will explore the influence of Soviet ideology, literary experiments, social provocations and lesser-known chapters of Latvian literary history. The event is in Latvian.
