
Ballet "A Little Prayer. Tribute to Arvo Pärt"
The Vanemuine National Theatre from Estonia presents "A Little Prayer," an homage to composer Arvo Pärt, whose works have touched many people worldwide. The performance weaves together dance, music, and theatrical expression to explore timeless themes such as life and death, love, faith, truth, peace, and freedom. Directed by Petr Zuska, the story follows a Woman and a Man, with symbols and archetypes highlighting their hidden worries and hopes. Czech choreographer and director Petr Zuska has previously staged "Romeo and Juliet" (2018) and "Swan Lake" (2021) at Vanemuine Ballet. In this production, the spirituality of Pärt’s music merges with poetic dance, expressing a longing for humanity, justice, and goodness.
