Jūrmalas jauno vēsturnieku klubs is a history-focused meeting at Jūrmalas muzejs in Jūrmala on 4 November 2026 at 17:00. Museum historian Līga Strazda will present the temporary exhibition about Lieutenant Colonel Augusts Muižulis. He served as an officer in Latvian Riflemen units during the First World War and later in the Latvian Army, was active in the public life of Rīga Jūrmala, and was shot by Soviet security authorities at the Central Prison in June 1941. The presentation will be followed by a discussion about heroism, historical experience and its meaning today. The exhibition opens on 11 November.
